I just got back from teaching the Build a Strip-Planked Kayak and Canoe Class at Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking. There were six in the class so we just built the Night Heron. But John, Peggy, Becca, Laurie, Tom, and Mike did a great job.
A free, informal gathering for kayak builders and paddlers to share knowledge, try out different boats, and enjoy a day of paddling. The event is open to all and takes place rain or shine.
