I will be attending the Wooden Boat Festival out in Port Townsend, Washington for the first time this year. I'm really looking forward to it. I've heard great things about it. The festival website says:
Guillemot Kayaks has been showing at the WoodenBoat Show since 1995. I missed a few when the show moved out west, but I make a point of going when it is close by. Mystic Seaport is about as close as it gets, about 10 minutes from my shop.
The Maine Boats Homes and Harbors Show in Rockland Maine is a great gathering of all kinds of creative people. From builders of large yachts to crafters of fine jewelry, deisel engines to hammocks, this show has something for everyone. I always enjoy showing my boats to the people who visit this show. They are knowledgable and curious. It is worth a trip to Maine to see this part of the coast and take in some beautiful boats.
Once again Guillemot Kayaks will be exhibiting at the WoodenBoat Show at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT. This is always a great chance to see beautiful boats in a facinating setting.
What could be better than an August day in Maine? Lots of boats, in August, in Maine. This show has something for everyone with fine yachts, fine art, and fine homes. There will also be some fine kayaks. I'll bring a passel of boats to show.
Once again, the Woodenboat Show is back in my home waters. Held at Mystic Seaport, which is worth spending the whole weekend at in itself, this show gathers together the finest wooden boat builders in the country.
This show is the first hint of spring sparking dreams of the upcoming boating season. With an awesome selection of fine boats, this is not your average consumer boat show. I have yet to see any glitter gelcoat or the slightest hint of an over-powered bass boat, these are boats built by craftsmen dedicated to their craft.
